Rosie

Chief Welcome & Ankle Inspection Officer

Rosie's Story

It’s Rosie, and if you’re new here, she already knows. As the colony’s self-appointed greeter, Rosie treats her duties with utmost seriousness—if seriousness were measured in purrs, sidelong stares, and the occasional swat of a paw.

She patrols the entrance like a velvet-wrapped security guard: circling ankles for inspection, sniffing shoes as though they might contain secrets, and delivering perfectly timed judgmental looks that could make a grown human reconsider their life choices.

Visitors, volunteers, and even suspiciously moving leaves are all subject to Rosie’s rigorous approval process. Impress her, and you earn gentle nuzzles, a chirpy greeting, or maybe even a treat. Fail, and you’ll know it—her glare says, “Do better. Or at least bring snacks.” Equal parts charm, sass, and neighborhood diplomacy, Rosie runs her domain with the confidence of a tiny mayor whose office is a sunny patch of floor, her council is a row of sleeping cats, and her decisions are final.

Fun fact: she sometimes schedules surprise “inspect-the-human” audits, just to keep everyone on their toes.

In Rosie’s world, a properly greeted guest is a happy guest—but don’t think you’re getting a free pass.
