Cat Cabin Program

The Neighborhood Cats Network’s Cat Cabin Program provides community cats with
safe, insulated, and weatherproof cabins along with reliable feeding stations.

For those of you who have witnessed a Western New York winter, you know what is at stake. The cold doesn’t just nip – it lingers, burrows and breaks through even the thickest coats of fur. For community cats, surviving a single frigid night can mean curling into a tight ball under a porch, shivering through subzero winds.

Surviving, in this sense, is not living - it’s merely enduring. Our cabins change that. Each one is aesthetically pleasing, built from years of refinement and experience, insulated for warmth and filled with clean straw to keep cats dry and safe. They transform a desperate fight for survival into a chance to thrive - to rest, to heal, to simply exist in comfort and safety.

Strategically placed feeding stations ensure steady access to food and water, supporting their health and well-being.

These cabins transform winter from a season of relentless survival into one that offers dignity, protection, and the simple comfort every living being deserves. They turn desperation into stability- and survival into the chance to truly thrive.
